The IWC perpetual calendar 44 Horizon Blue watch features an 18k white gold case, measuring 44.4 millimeters in width and 14.9 millimeters in thickness (water-resistant to 50 meters).
The dial continues to display the time, the power reserve indicator of the 7-day core, the moon phase, and the complete perpetual calendar display including the current year counter. The price of this watch reflects that its case is gold. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, IWC currently does not offer a new version of the Portuguese perpetual calendar with a steel case. That is to say, some other versions of newly upgraded Portuguese watches feature steel cases, but do not adopt the Horizon Blue dial color or the internal automatic perpetual calendar movement of IWC.
